Testing competence for reliable results.

In our modern Test Centre in Wuppertal, we offer you a wide range of test services in the area of structural sealing and the textile sector. Our test equipment is subject to continuous inspection and calibration, thereby providing a safe basis for performing and certifying the requisite tests.

Test certificates are often a prerequisite for the approval of products for certain areas of application. We support you in generating test certificates and expert reports.

Water vapor diffusion tester

Test to determine the volume of water vapor penetrating a test object, e. g. a sealing membrane, within a defined period and under controlled conditions. The so-called WVP value can be used to calculate the SD value (equivalent air layer thickness).

Test station as per
ETAG 022 Annex F

This is part of a system test for sealing systems. This test is specially designed for the sealing of pipe penetrations and is part of the test program according to ETAG 022 parts 1,2 and 3.

Test station as per
ETAG 022 Annex A

This is part of a system test for sealing systems in conjunction with tiles. Both liquid, and sheet or panel shaped sealing systems as well as all components associated with the system are tested.

Crack expansion

The crack expansion test examines the performance of decoupling membranes. It simulates movements in the subsurface and the crack bridging ability, which act on the tiled surface as a result of shrinkage cracks, thermal and mechanical influences.

Flame resistance

Universal test for many materials to determine the flammability. The standard describes here how long the flame is applied, whether edge or surface and whether it is a material or composite test.

Tear/expansion/peel test

Various raw materials and finished products are examined for their physical properties. The maximum tensile force, the tear resistance and the maximum stretchability of a material are determined. An internal peel test can be used to check the adhesion of adhesives in connection with our products on various materials.

Adhesive tensile strength test

This test method determines the adhesive tensile strength of the product in combination with the substrate, the tile adhesive and the tile, or the adhesion of the various layers. It determines the force necessary to break the bond between layers of materials.

Slot pressure test

The slot pressure test is used to determine the watertightness of a waterproofing product. According to the requirements of the standard, a test object is exposed to a certain water pressure in the test device for a defined period of time, which penetrates the product through four slots.

Outdoor exposure

Long-term tests are performed in the outdoor exposure area using our raw materials and finished materials, which are later incorporated in products such as sealing membranes and sealing tapes.

Weathering under laboratory conditions

The combination of UV radiation, irrigation and heat simulates weather conditions. The test is performed under standard conditions in that the material is exposed to radiation and spraying at various temperatures within a specified cycle.

Heat aging

The purpose of this test is to determine the effect of heat on different materials.

Blower Door Test

The differential pressure measuring method determines the airtightness of a building. The method is used to detect leaks in the building envelope and to determine the actual air exchange rate.
