Four intensive days are behind us – and with them a week that brought together a wide range of topics, teams and perspectives at Jaeger.

Each of the four days focused on a different topic: Operational Excellence, Lead Excellence, Product Excellence and Sales Excellence. From workshops and sessions to discussions and practical insights into our different areas of work, the programme was diverse and engaging.

But it wasn’t just about processes, leadership, products and sales. Beyond the official agenda, there was plenty of time to talk, laugh and simply spend time together. It was this combination of professional exchange and personal encounters that made the week so special.

Another highlight was getting an insight into our different locations and areas of work. Colleagues from various countries shared their experiences and showed just how diverse Jaeger is. 

On Friday, it was finally time to say goodbye. Our guests headed back to their respective locations, while things in Wuppertal slowly returned to the usual working routine.

What remains are many impressions, inspiring conversations and plenty of shared memories.

Jaeger is investing in Piła and expanding its Jaeger Polska site. With the start of construction, we are taking the next step in strengthening our presence in Poland.

Jaeger Polska is a key production and engineering hub within the Jaeger Group and is being expanded with additional manufacturing and logistics space. The project also includes new engineering offices, administrative areas, and employee facilities. At the same time, we are further enhancing our technical and digital capabilities.

This expansion increases our production capacity, brings us closer to our customers, and creates additional redundant manufacturing capabilities to further strengthen supply security and the resilience of our supply chains.

Sustainability is an integral part of the project. The new building is being constructed to energy-efficient standards and will feature a photovoltaic system as well as a fossil-free heating and cooling system.

This investment strengthens Jaeger Polska and reinforces its strategic role within the Jaeger Group.

Techtextil 2026 was a great success for us. A big thank you to everyone who visited our booth – for the open discussions, the practical topics, and the valuable insights from your day-to-day work.

The strong interest in our solutions for mobility, personal protective equipment (PPE), and customized applicationsconfirms that demand for functional, tailor-made textiles continues to grow.

The direct feedback we received was especially valuable – because this is where new ideas and future developments begin.

Como parte de un plan de sucesión a largo plazo, Tilman Jaeger se jubilará como director general a finales de año, tal como estaba previsto. Después de estudiar administración de empresas, comenzó como interventor en Wuppertal en 1988, seguido de una temporada en el extranjero, en Francia. Desde 1994, Tilman fue responsable de varias divisiones comerciales y sucursales en el extranjero como director general e impulsó la expansión y el crecimiento de la empresa. Fiel al lema periodístico “Nada más que la verdad” o “Cuéntalo como es”, brindó seguridad, orientación y rapidez con un lenguaje sencillo y un alto nivel de compromiso, viviendo así consistentemente la visión de Jaeger de “Proteger. Fortalecer. Innovar.»

A principios de diciembre tuvo lugar una fiesta de despedida sorpresa en el #Visiodrom de Wuppertal y en Visitec de Jaeger, a la que asistieron empleados cercanos, la familia del accionista y compañeros de muchos años.

Además de sus numerosas actividades privadas, oficinas y tareas, Tilman seguirá asociado a la empresa familiar Jaeger como accionista y, a partir de mediados de 2024, como miembro del Consejo Asesor.

Todo el equipo Jaeger en todo el mundo quiere agradecer a Tilman por 35 maravillosos y exitosos años y desearle buena suerte y disfrute en todo lo que le espera.
