The winners of the Johannes Jaeger Prize 2024 have been announced!

We are excited to announce the winners of the Johannes Jaeger Prize 2024! We received numerous impressive applications. Our jury, consisting of Silke Grüsser, Emre Tok, Thomas Jaeger, René Krieger, and Tilman Jaeger, carefully reviewed all submissions. The selection process was not easy.

First Price: Patrick Nekola and Mike Stoeck from “Nest Bildungsbar” (www.nest-bildungsbar.de) in Wuppertal, awarded 15,000 euros. Nest Bildungsbar is dedicated to the future of education, ensuring a successful start to professional life.

Second Price: Alisha Felkle and Julia Ludwig from “Mom.Career” (www.momcareer.de) in Neuss, awarded 10,000 euros. Mom.Career has established an online job coaching service for mothers.

Both startups embody what was important to our company’s founder, Johannes Jaeger: the “Just Do It” attitude with a focus on boldly advancing opportunities, believing in people’s abilities, continuing education, strengthening strengths, and developing a drive for one’s own field.

We are proud to have “discovered” them and will continue to support their commitment.

The award ceremony will take place on September 5, 2024, as part of the Jaeger Innovation Days. We look forward to celebrating our four award winners.

Tilman Jaeger: ¡Gracias por 35 años!

Como parte de un plan de sucesión a largo plazo, Tilman Jaeger se jubilará como director general a finales de año, tal como estaba previsto. Después de estudiar administración de empresas, comenzó como interventor en Wuppertal en 1988, seguido de una temporada en el extranjero, en Francia. Desde 1994, Tilman fue responsable de varias divisiones comerciales y sucursales en el extranjero como director general e impulsó la expansión y el crecimiento de la empresa. Fiel al lema periodístico “Nada más que la verdad” o “Cuéntalo como es”, brindó seguridad, orientación y rapidez con un lenguaje sencillo y un alto nivel de compromiso, viviendo así consistentemente la visión de Jaeger de “Proteger. Fortalecer. Innovar.»

A principios de diciembre tuvo lugar una fiesta de despedida sorpresa en el #Visiodrom de Wuppertal y en Visitec de Jaeger, a la que asistieron empleados cercanos, la familia del accionista y compañeros de muchos años.

Además de sus numerosas actividades privadas, oficinas y tareas, Tilman seguirá asociado a la empresa familiar Jaeger como accionista y, a partir de mediados de 2024, como miembro del Consejo Asesor.

Todo el equipo Jaeger en todo el mundo quiere agradecer a Tilman por 35 maravillosos y exitosos años y desearle buena suerte y disfrute en todo lo que le espera.
